Dr. Matthew Jorgensen – PhD, MS
Matthew Jorgensen is an animal behavior and welfare scientist with experience in research and management across domestic and exotic species. His expertise is in applied animal behavior and welfare science, population health, stress physiology, and science education.
Matthew is a passionate communicator and collaborator in the welfare and sustainability space, and seeks synergistic solutions to real world animal care issues. His aim is to find and apply realistic approaches to animal care at the facility, group, and individual levels which improve animal welfare status, reduce environmental impact, and maximize utility and returns.
